I purchased this ball to use to apply more concentrated pressure than I can get with a foam roller. It came with no directions. That made it difficult to understand the purpose of the ball and the proper inflation. It seems to me that for this to work the pressure should be 50 - 100 psi. As I pumped the ball up - the ball kept getting bigger but not much harder. I am not sure what the ball is for, but it is not for deep tissue massage. I can get a lot more pressure from a foam roller - this ball was a disappointment.
This ball works great. For body rolling, it works wonderfully. It has just the right softness, to get into the back muscles for that release I am looking for. My other body rolling ball costs over twice as much as I paid for this one, and it doesn't work quite as well. A good product that I can highly recommend.
